STWD959C special bonding agent is a single component moisture cure colorless transparent polyurethane coating. This coating has excellent adhesion with polyurea, polyurethane, epoxy coatings, and is widely used for interlayer bonding between polymer coatings such as polyurea, polyurethane, and epoxy coatings.
Characteristics This bonding agent adopts a unique formula, using special hydroxyl and amino polyethers and MDI materials as the main raw materials, and is pre-polymerized through scientific production processes. The coating film not only has excellent adhesion to the original polymer coating, but also has good compatibility with the subsequent coating and with strong adhesion force.

Substrate surface treatment For the coatings that exceed the allowable re-coating time, if the overall re-coating is required, an angle grinder should be used to roughen the surface, clean it, and then apply a special overlap adhesive. If spraying overlap or repair, the edge width of the sprayed coating area should be 20cm extra wider, and the above process should be followed to roughen, clean, and then apply the overlap agent.
Application method Before application, STWD959C overlap adhesive should be evenly mixed and poured out as much as you needed. The remaining materials should be sealed well in a timely manner to prevent moisture absorption and cure. STWD959C special adhesive can be applied using any method of brushing, rolling, or spraying. The thickness of the paint film should be controlled around 20-30 microns (dry film). Spray polyurethane and polyurea materials should be applied within 6-20 hours after the bonding agent is applied (make sure the surface is dry) to ensure the quality of application.
Labor protection During the use of this product, labor protection equipment such as work clothes, gloves, and masks must be worn.
Note The coating temperature is 5-35 ºC, the relative humidity is 35-90%, and the surface temperature of the substrate is above 3 ºC above the dew point; Mix the coating thoroughly before application until it is completely uniform; If the viscosity is too high, a small amount of solvent (sec-butyl ester) can be used to dilute it, and use brush, roller, and spraying methods; The application site should ensure has good ventilation, while also isolating fire sources and keeping away from heat sources.
